We watched storm after storm go up today. After being frustrated with limited road options that went far out of the way, we made the mistake of trying to take a dirt road as a shortcut. It was a slow, slick ride up to I-70 and Quinter, where we arrived too late. We washed the mud off the van, got some gas, and then hopped back south on a paved road towards Ness City. If we would have stuck around Quinter, we would have seen a tornado or two! There was a huge convergence in Ness City with a large, dark, scary storm approaching. I think we saw a quick tornado coming north out of the city. Due to the dark conditions I don't have pictures on this page, but this mainly time lapsed video is worth checking out.
